Ethic has broad meaning, depending
on the situation or places where you implementing it. It differ starts from
geographical area, culture, people and so on. It also defines the awareness of
someone either being ethical enough in running a business or not. Ethical
consciousness is about involve and expressing moral approval or vice versa or
in other word following what he thinks is right and normal in the society. Also,
it is about what an entrepreneur can give back to society as a result for his
success.
Just like Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar al-Bukhary who established a foundation
called al-Bukhary foundation. This foundation focus more on education because
he came from a poor family where facility to study is very limited. Come from
this awareness, he focus more for education and the rest is divided into a few categories
such as welfare and development, cultural programmed religion and etc. This
definitely helps to release the burden of the less fortunate. Even in Islam,
helping people in need, Allah SWT has promised to double the reward. The hand
that gives is greater than that received.
